With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we are so thrilled to announce that one of the most beloved traditions in the history of Christus Rex is returning — Tusen Takk, which means “a thousand thanks.”
Join the Tusen Takk Giving Circle this year and receive a one of a kind, handmade, David Badman ornament that is custom to this program and ministry.

When Tusen Takk first began, it was never simply a fundraiser. It was a celebration of gratitude — a way for this community to say thank you for all that God has done and continues to do through this ministry. Each gift carried a story of faith, friendship, and generosity that helped shape lives on campus and beyond.

We are rekindling that tradition. Tusen Takk invites our alumni, parents, and friends to join us again in gratitude and generosity, giving thanks for what Christus Rex means to you and to the students who call this place home.
The Tusen Takk gift level is set at $1,000 - to reflect its name - a thousand thanks. Make a gift of $1,000 or more over the calendar year. A one-time gift or automated monthly gifts both help sustain the ministry. Every participant in Tusen Takk 2025 will receive a special ornament - a one-of-a-kind ornament designed by Dave Badman as a sign of our thanks to you, for your gifts, your support, and most importantly, your continued partnership in this ministry. It’s a tangible reminder of the circle of gratitude your gift sustains: alums supporting students, students creating beauty, and a ministry built on thanks.
Make your commitment by sending a gift in 2025 or filling out a pledge for next year.

Make a gift of $1,000 or more over the calendar year. A one time gift, or automated monthly gifts both help sustain the ministry. Of course, $1,000 today goes a slightly different distance than it did 20 years ago when this program began, but our invitation remains the same. For those who are able, we invite you to consider an amount above $1,000 to sustain this ministry for years to come. Your generosity ensures that students at UND continue to encounter God’s radical hospitality — through worship, meals, conversation, and care.
