Our Philosophy
Free Lunch Friday is a cherished tradition at Christus Rex, where we provide a warm, homemade meal to more than 100 young adults each week. But it’s about more than just food—it’s about hospitality, connection, and fostering a sense of community in the heart of a busy campus. When your congregation or group volunteers to serve, you’re offering more than lunch; you’re offering care, welcome, and a place of belonging. Whether you’re preparing food in the kitchen or greeting students in line, your service helps address food insecurity and reminds students that they are seen, supported, and never alone.
