Join us for worship on Sunday at 5:30 pm throughout the school year.

Christus Rex is a campus church with a worship that is encouraging, uplifting, and challenging. The messages are relevant, and students are always a part of worship leadership. Come and meet our Campus Pastor and the people who call this their church on campus.

Come as you are! Even if you think you don’t fit in at church, check us out. This is a church that welcomes everyone – no exceptions, no fine print, just open and inviting. Come and see for yourself why students have been calling Christus Rex their home away from home for 75 years.

 

Student Leaders

Do you want to be a deacon? For over 40 years at Christus Rex, students have answered “Yes”! to this question.

Christus Rex has been gifted by creative student leadership for many years. Deacon Ministry is one important way to become a leader within this community.

• Deacons gather each Wednesday evening for community building, service, and prayer.
• Deacons offer primary worship leadership at Christus Rex each week.
• Deacons offer leadership using their particular skills & gifts.

Are you interested in being a student leader at Christus Rex? You might be called to be a leader in this place. Your gifts might well find expression through deacon ministry and the Rex. Ask a current deacon about the program.

Service

Christus Rex is a community that takes seriously our call to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly (Micah 6:8) as people of faith. Every month we have many opportunities to join us in service projects – from serving at the food pantry, serving a meal at the Mission, to playing games with residents at Edgewood Vista… join us!

Food

We believe in the beauty of sharing a meal together. Every Friday (12-1pm) during the school year we offer Free Lunch  — homecooked meals sponsored by area congregations is just like a taste of home! Stop by and warm up with a free cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa that’s always hot and ready for you. Look for other opportunities during the week to share in conversation and meals. Christus Rex is a place that feeds people’s bodies, minds, and spirits.
